BETWEEN HEMISPHERES is a rhythmically dense and repetitive quasi-popular music work.
Principal influences would include the early work of the American composers Terry Riley, Steve Reich, and Philip Glass, along with the German minimalist school of Kraftwerk, Popul Vuh, Harmonia among others.
In keeping with an instrumentalist aesthetic I have avoided the use of delay/loop devices.
Recordings made at my loft in Brooklyn were initially recorded on 4-track cassette, then transferred to a digital 8 recorder and overdubbed.
